Legacy Hall offers a structured, welcoming residential environment designed to support daily routines, learning, and personal growth. Shared spaces encourage connection and accountability, while private areas provide comfort, rest, and stability.

The residence helps young women build independence in a safe, supportive setting.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Female youth in foster care ages 16-21.

  • Legacy Hall is unleveled, referencing NC’s 4 level system of residential care for minors.

  • Until they turn 21, provided they are on a Voluntary Placement Agreement (VPA) with DSS.

  • Residents under 18 are required to complete high school or a GED program. Residents over 18 can attend local college courses or attend a university if desired.

  • In collaboration with the resident’s guardian county, residents are supported in obtaining and maintaining employment.

  • Clients in good standing can choose to enroll in our Aftercare Program which provides continued support for up to 3 years.
